Three Cabinet Ministers, a minister of state with the independent charge and two ministers of state were administered oath of office and secrecy at a function at Rashtarapati Bhawan by the President Mrs Pratibha Devi Singh Patil.While Praful Patel, Sriprakash Jaiswal and Salman Khursheed were elevated to the cabinet rank, Mr Beni Prasad Verma is the new face in the council of ministers along with K C Venugopal. Mr Ashwani Kumar has staged a comeback as a minister of state.The Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh were present at the swearing in ceremony. Portfolios of man ministers have been changed.
