The Cabinet has also cleared a proposal that will eventually lead to transfer of direct cash subsidy to the farmers for procuring fertilizers.

Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA gave its nod to the modifications in procedure of releasing fertilizer subsidies so as to make them available directly to beneficiaries.
