In an another major decision the Cabinet also gave an approval for an amendement Bill to the Copy Right Act, 1957. The proposed amendments will remove operational difficulties, bringing in clarity and address the issues that have emerged in the phase of digital technology and internet. The amendments will seek to protect the concerns of music and film industry, physically challenged, right of the authors as well as the broadcasting sectors.<br/>
