Union Cabinet has approved an additional grant of 200 crore rupees to provide drinking water facilities to the Bundelkhand region in Uttar Pradesh. Briefing media, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni said that this grant is in addition to other measures including a special package announced by the centre in November last year for the mitigation of drought.
