Cabinet approves land allotment for construction of ceremonial lounge at Tirupati Airport

<span style="color: #222222;">The Union Cabinet has approved the allotment of 1800 square metre of land for construction of a ceremonial lounge at Tirupati Airport.<br />''<br />''The land will be given to Andhra Pradesh Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation for a period of 15 years at a nominal rate of a license fee of one rupee per annum. The land belongs to the Airports Authority of India.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that Tirupati being the abode of Lord Shri Venkateswara is frequently visited by VVIPs. Construction of the ceremonial lounge will offer better amenities to visitors.</span><br />
