It will provide much needed additional public transport infrastructure&nbsp; and address traffic congestion in the&nbsp; NCR region.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''Union Finance Minister&nbsp; Arun Jaitley said&nbsp; the&nbsp; Cabinet also approved&nbsp; Ahmedabad metro rail project, Phase 2.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''It&nbsp; comprises&nbsp; two corridors of total length of over 28 kilometres. The corridor first will be from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir and corridor second is from GNLU to GIFT City.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The completion cost of the project is over 5384 crore rupees.
