In Bihar, two bypoll election results have come in.
Ajay Kumar Bulgani of RJD has defeated his nearest BJP rival from Mohiuddin Nagar, while BJP's Rashmi Verma has defeated her nearest Congress rival from Narkatia Ganj assembly constituency.

In Punjab, Congress candidate Preneet Kaur has won from Patiala assembly seat by-election with a margin of 23,282 votes.

In Talwandi Sabo, Shrimani Akali Dal candidate Jeet Mahinder Singh is leading by more than 16,000 votes.

Polling for these two constituencies was conducted on the 21st of this month.

Counting is underway for by-elections in rest of the assembly seats in four states-Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab.
