By-polls in 3 states in December<br/>By-elections to four Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and Manipur will be held on the 19th of next month. This was announced by the Election Commission on Friday.<br/>By-polls will be held to Pulivendula in Andhra Pradesh, Thiruchendur and Vandawasi in Tamil Nadu and Yaiskul in Manipur. Counting of votes will be taken up on the 23rd of December. <br/>By-polls to Pulivendula and Vandawasi were necessitated due to the death of incumbent members Y S Rajashekara Reddy and Jayaraman. Polls to Thiruchendur assembly segment was necessitated as MLA Anita Radakrishnan resigned his post. He quit AIADMK and joined DMK recently. <br/>
