Congress has termed the by-polls results and trends as a negative indication for BJP saying, it seems the feel good factor of Lok Sabha elections of the ruling party has come down.
Talking to AIR party leader Shakeel Ahmad said that the BJP has been reduced to mere three to four seats in Bihar.Janta Dal (United) President Sharad Yadav said the bypoll results in Bihar will send a message across the country against the BJP.
He said, JD(U)-RJD-Congress alliance will prepare at a mass level for the assembly elections in the state next year. RJD spokesperson Manoj Jha said the by-poll results show that BJP government at the Centre is far from issues of public interest.
He told AIR that his party has made an experiment with JD(U) and Congress which showed positive signs and it will give a message in the country.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the trends and results cannot be seen as a verdict against or in favour any party as by-elections are fought on local issues.
He told AIR that BJP will analyze the results and decide its future course of action.
