In Uttar Pradesh, the by election for one vacant seat to the state Legislative Council by the Member of Legislative Assembly will be held on the 23rd of next month. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports the by poll is necessitated due to the resignation of a sitting ruling BSP member Jugool Kishor after getting elected to the Lok Sabha. Notification for by election will be issued on 6th of next month and September 13 will be last date for filling nominations.
