In Jharkhand, polling for the by-election of Kharswan assembly seat is under progress and 51 per cent polling has been reported till one p.m. No untoward incident has been reported from anywhere. Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP candidate Arjun Munda is contesting as the joint candidate for the ruling BJP, JMM, AJSU and JDU (Combined). Whereas, JVM candidate Krishna Gagrai is the combined candidate of United JVM-Congress led opposition.
