In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress has announced its candidate for the by-election of Dumariaganj Assembly seat. Mr. Ashok Singh will be its candidate. Congress General Secretary Mr. Digvijay Singh announced this at Lucknow.<br/>This seat has been vacated after death of sitting BSP MLA Mr. Taufiq Ahmed. He was died on January 24 this year. The BSP has already announced to field wife of late MLA in the forth coming by election.<br/>
