Former Union Minister and Congress leader Buta Singh is to contest from Jalore Parliamentary constituency in Rajasthan on Samajwadi Party ticket.

Our Correspondent reports that former Bihar governor and former Chairman of National Scheduled Castes Commission and eight times MP Buta Singh had won from this seat four times as Congress candidate.

He had won Jalore seat for the first time in 1984. He was expelled from the Congress after 2009 elections but Party has revoked his suspension during last assembly elections in Rajasthan.
