On the 8th day of competitions in the London Olympics today, India will be figuring in many events.In the Women's Singles Badminton, fourth seed and world Number Five Saina Nehwal will take on World Number Two Xin Wang of China in the play-off for the Bronze Medal.In Mixed Doubles Tennis, the duo of Leander Paes and Sania Mirza will continue their unfinished quarterfinal match against the top-seeded Belarussian pair of Max Mirnyi and Victoria Azarenka. The Indians were trailing 5-7, 2-3, when the play was called off due to fading light on Friday. Two Indian boxers – Devendro Singh Laishram in Light Flyweight and Manoj Kumar in Light Welterweight – will vie for entry in the quarterfinals. In Shooting, Shagun Chowdhary will be figuring in the Women's Trap event. In the Track and Field Events, Sudha Singh will participate in the 3,000-metre steeplechase. Three other athletes, Irfan Thodi Kolothum, Baljinder Singh and Gurmeet Singh, will be in action in the 20-km walking race.
