In Australia, a bushfire has burnt more than 300 hectares of land in Muchea, 60 kilo metres north of Perth. Authorities said the fire is out of control and moving quickly towards a pine plantation. Around 100 fire fighters and several water bombers are on the scene. The Fire and Emergency Services Authority has evacuated residents and a relocation point has been set up at the Muchea Community Hall. According to reports, there is a possible threat to lives and homes and residents have been told to put their bushfire survival plans into action.
