Buses set on fire in Haryana

Dera Sacha Sauda followers set on fire at least 12 state roadways buses and public property in various districts of the state. The Dera Sacha Sauda followers are annoyed for FIR registered against Dera Chief Baba Ram Rahim Singh by CBI for his alleged involvement in the murder of a former Dera Manager who went missing mysteriously in 1991. The Dera Chief said that he is not aware of the incident of violence. The violators set on fire four buses at national highway, 65 in capital. Similar incidents were occurred at Narwana, Fatehabad, Uchana, Jind Hissar Road, Sirsa, Kalianwauali and other parts of the state. Following the incidents police had prompted into action and controlled the situation. According to Haryana DGP R.S. Dalal paramilitary forces has been deployed in the disturbed areas. He said that the situation is under control now and law and order will be maintained. Mr. Dalal said prima facie it appeared to be handiwork of Dera Sucha Soda followers but some conspiracies behind the incident cannot be ruled out. Two CRPF companies have been deployed at Amballa, whereas two BSF companies at Fatehabad, two BSF companies at Sirsa. The two thousand police trainees from Madhuban police training centre have been deployed in various districts. The Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said nobody will be allowed to disturb law and order in the state. He said that it is an attempt to hamper the peaceful atmosphere of the state. Similar incidents are also reported from Malwa belt of Punjab where Dera Sucha Soda followers torched 16 buses targetted trains and forced the shut down yesterday. At Sajuma village in capital one bogy of a passenger train was reportedly damaged and vehicles of BDO and Naib Tehsildar of Ranjound were set on fire in Haryana.<br/><br/>In Rajasthan, Dera supporters created violence by burning two buses in Chistia and Mumar villges of Hanumangarh district.
