In Kolkata and adjoining areas, bus services have been partially affected as a section of private bus owners are on indefinite strike from yesterday. The Joint Council of Bus Syndicate and Bengal Bus Syndicate have called the strike demanding immediate hike of passenger fares after recent increase of diesel prices.
