In South Africa, twenty four people have been killed and more than 10 others seriously injured in a bus crash. The bus was travelling on a motorway towards Cape Town when the driver apparently lost control. It overturned in Western Cape Province, about 150 kilometres north-west of the city. The provincial traffic spokesperson Xenophone Wentzel said the accident happened early in the morning and the fatalities included a number of children.
