In Senegal, at least 25 people were killed and a dozen injured including many who were heading to an annual pilgrimage when two buses collided, Senegal Radio Station reported today that one of the buses involved in the accident was heading towards Touba where up to one million people were going for Wednesday's annual Muslim pilgrimage. <br/><br/>The other bus was heading the opposite direction towards Kebemer when the two vehicles collided. The city of Touba hosts the annual pilgrimage celebrating the work of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, a Sufi guide who peacefully opposed French settlers.<br/>
