The Gurugram District Court granted bail to Ashok Kumar, the bus conductor, who was initially accused of murdering Pradyuman Thakur, a class two student of the Ryan International School.

Ashok's counsel had filed the bail application for his client after the CBI arrested a 16-year-old student of the school on charges of killing his junior.

He said, the CBI had claimed the juvenile had confessed to his crime and the motive had also been established by the agency.

However, the CBI has not given clean chit to Ashok, who was arrested by the police. Opposing the bail plea, the CBI counsel said, the agency has not reached a stage in its probe where Ashok could be declared innocent. He said, Ashok is still one of the suspects in the case.

Pradyuman was found with his throat slit in the toilet of
the school on 8th of September.
