In Afghanistan, 35 people were killed and 27 injured in a major bus accident in the southern Kandahar province today. Official sources said,the mishap occurred when the bus overturned and rolled down the mountainous road after the driver lost control . The overcrowded was on its way to Kabul from Kandhar. President Hamid Karzai has expressed grief over the tragedy and loss of several lives in the accident. Elsewhere in Afghanistan, 5 people were killed in insurgents' attacks in different parts of the country.
