In China,seventeen people were killed and fifty four others injured when an overcrowded bus in which they were travelling crashed near a village in China's Hunan Province. According to the official Xinhua news agency , nine people including the driver were killed on the spot, while eight others died in the hospital.<br/><br/>The bus was carrying seventy one people though it was designed to carry only thirty.<br/>
