Burial ceremony of two Indian Army soldiers who were martyred in first world war will be held tomorrow at Military Cemetery, La Gorgue, France.<br/><br/>Indian Army said, on 20th September last year during an excavation work near Paris, two human remains were found, which were identified as causalities of 39th Royal Garwal Rifles. <br/><br/>The office of Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) in consultation with the French government and the Indian Embassy in France decided to hold a burial ceremony at Laventie Military Cemetery, with full military honours. CWGC is curator of the graves of these unsung heroes.<br/><br/>On behalf of the Indian Army, a delegation was nominated to attend the Ceremony. In a symbolic gesture the soil from the graves of these soldiers would be brought back to their homeland. <br/><br/>During World War-1, the GARHWAL Brigade showed unparalleled bravery in the treacherous trenches of France and Flanders. The British and the Indian soldiers fought shoulder to shoulder and attained martyrdom. The Brigade earned six Battle Honours and two Victoria Cross in France and Flanders Theatre. <br/>
