In Assam, Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Guwahati has sent terrorist Sahanur Alom to 14 days of police custody.

The Special Operation Unit of Assam police arrested the one of the masterminds of Burdwan blast from Larkuchi village in Nalbari district yesterday.

He was absconding following the Burdwan blast and the NIA had announced 5 lakh rupees against him.

Meanwhile, Assam DGP Khagen Sarma said that Sahanur was hiding in Meghalaya and Indo- Bangladesh border areas along with in some parts of Assam.

Mr. Sarma said that Sahanur obtained anti-national training in West Bengal and connected with Burdwan during last 1 and half years.
The DGP also revealed that as the top member of the Assam module of Jaamat Ul Mujahidin, Bangladesh , Sahanur has expertise in motivating people.
