प्रधानमंत्री मोदी मौसम और जलवायु अनुसंधान के लिए तैयार एक उच्च-प्रदर्शन कंप्यूटिंग प्रणाली का उद्घाटन भी करेंगे। साढ़े आठ सौ करोड़ रुपये की यह परियोजना मौसम संबंधी अनुप्रयोगों के लिए भारत की गणना संबंधी क्षमताओं की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

In Jammu and Kashmir, a voter turnout of 57.03 percent was recorded in the second phase of Assembly polls yesterday. Election Commission said, the voting was held for 26 Assembly Constituencies spread across 6 districts , peacefully without any incident of violence. The six districts that went to polls in the second phase are – Budgam, Ganderbal, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi and Srinagar.
As per the Election Commission data, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi seat recorded the highest voter turnout with 80.74 percent, followed by Surankote at 74.95 percent and Poonch Haveli at 74.66 percent. Among the districts, Reasi topped at 74.70 percent with Poonch district a close second at 73.80 percent.
Chief Election Commission, Rajiv Kumar said that the elections in Jammu and Kashmir are history in the making as voters have embraced democratic process over violence and boycott. He highlighted that strong security measures were in place including webcasting in all polling stations to ensure transparency. Mr Kumar lauded the voters and said that the second phase turnout is a resounding statement of their belief in democracy.
The voting for 40 seats in third and final phase will be held on 1st October while counting of votes will be held on 8th October.

India has called for urgent reforms of the international decision-making structures, especially the Security Council, to give the Global South its due representation. Speaking at the Foreign Ministers’ meeting of the G20, in the US, yesterday, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has said that the United Nations is a prisoner of the past and it must evolve with the world. Dr. Jaishankar stressed that the Global South must be given their legitimate voice. He emphasized on the urgent need to reform the UN to ensure it is representative, credible, and effective. Mr. Jaishankar said the reforms should include expansion of both permanent and elected seats on the Security Council. The ministers of the G20, met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly’s high-level meeting in the US.
In a speech that dealt with the international financial and development organisations, Dr. S. Jaishankar said that it was imperative to bring in reforms to make the international financial architecture more robust, expansive and effective. He emphasized that during India’s G20 presidency, India set up a panel of international economic experts to recommend reforms to the Multilateral Development Banks and the suggestions were adopted by the G20.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar also held a bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov yesterday on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York. Moreover, Dr. Jaishankar met several delegates and diplomats on the sidelines of UNGA including Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Nurtleu, Morocco Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, and Swiss Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, among many others.

इस्राइल तथा हिज्बुल्लाह के बीच संघर्ष में बढ़ोतरी के मद्देनजर इस्राइल के सेना प्रमुख ने लेबनान में आशंकित हमले के लिए सेना को तैयार रहने के निर्देश दिए हैं। यह निर्देश तब दिया गया, जब इस्राइल के लडाकू विमानों ने सीमापार हिज्बुल्लाह के ठिकानों पर बमबारी बढा दी है। वर्ष 2006 के बाद यह सबसे घातक हवाई हमला है।
लेबनान के विदेश मंत्री अब्दुल्ला बोउ हबीब के अनुसार इस युद्ध के कारण लेबनान में लगभग पांच लाख लोग पहले ही विस्थापित हो चुके हैं। लेबनान के वित्त मंत्री अमीन सलाम ने तत्काल राजनीतिक समाधान के सम्भावित नुकसान के प्रति आगाह किया है। उन्होंने एक महीने के मानवीय संकट का व्यय कम से कम तेरह करोड पचास लाख डॉलर होने का हवाला दिया है। इस्राइल के प्रधानमंत्री बेन्यामिन नेतन्याहू ने एक संदेश में कहा कि हिज्बुल्लाह को अभूतपूर्व जवाबी कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड रहा है। नेतन्याहू ने हजारों इस्राइल वासियों को उत्तरी सीमा क्षेत्रों में स्थित उनकी घर वापसी में सुविधा पहुंचाने की अपनी वचनबद्धता दोहराई।

The India Meteorological Department – IMD has issued a red alert over parts of Maharashtra, Goa, Konkan, Gujarat, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal today due to extremely heavy rainfall. The IMD has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Saurashtra, Kutch and Arunachal Pradesh today along with East Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall conditions will be present over Uttarakhand, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh till tomorrow. In East India, these conditions will also prevail over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar during the next two days. The weather agency has also forecast similar conditions in South India, over Telangana and Coastal Karnataka today. Light rain and thunderstorms are likely over Delhi and the adjoining NCR area today.

भारत के कमल चावला ने मंगोलिया के उलानबटार में आईबीएसएफ विश्व पुरुष- सिक्स रेड स्नूकर चैंपियनशिप जीत ली है। चावला ने फाइनल में पाकिस्तान के असजाद इकबाल को 6-2 से हराकर अपना पहला आईबीएसएफ विश्व खिताब जीता। भारत के लिए मलकीत सिंह, विद्या पिल्लई और कीर्तन पांडियन ने तीन और कांस्य पदक जीते। चावला वर्ष 2017 में इस टूर्नामेंट के उपविजेता रहे थे। महिला वर्ग में भारत की विद्या पिल्लई अपना खिताब नहीं बचा सकी। सेमीफाइनल में हांगकांग की एनजी ऑन यी से 2-4 के स्कोर से पराजित होने के बाद उन्हें कांस्य पदक से संतोष करना पड़ा।

The Tourism Authority of Thailand will host a three day Amazing Thailand Fest and a one day Amazing Thailand: Director’s Cut event in Chennai from 27 to 29th of this month to promote tourism to that Country. The event will be held in Express Avenue Speaking to reporters Kittipong Prapattong , Executive Director advertising and public relations department said the Amazing Thailand for tourists. He said cultural programs would be held to show the rich cultural heritage of Thailand and the connection it has with India. There will be a cultural performance in which traditional silk weaving dance and long drum dance with a Xylophone performance from the Thai movie The Overture Nora and Likay Hulu Dance of Thailand will be combined with Bharatanatyam.

The Greater Chennai Corporation has decided to float municipal bonds to bring in more funds to address the infrastructural needs of the city. It is a centrally approved model exclusive for urban local bodies to mobilise funds from investors and commercial establishments for interest . This scheme is aimed at enabling local bodies to execute essential projects without relying on state or central grants. According to Union Finance Ministry guidelines, urban local bodies can seek funding through bonds for any projects that are ring fenced that will convince investors. Commissioner J,Kumaragurubaran said there are also subsidies for local bodies who opt for grants. He said that the city is growing rapidly and there would be no use waiting for funds.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate KHIR City today in Bengaluru. The hi-tech city will be a hub for knowledge, health, Innovation and research based companies. It will host campuses of globally renowned educational and medical institutions, research centers and healthcare facilities. It is expected to attract investments worth 40,000 crore rupees boosting the state economy. Its first phase will span 500 acres near the satellite town ring road between Dobespet and Doddaballapur with a potential to expand to 5000 acres. The Startups, bioscience and semiconductor companies will be given priority to set up facilities in KHIR.

HYDERABAD METRO
The Telangana state Government is planning to launch an internship programme soon for engineering graduates to improve their job prospects. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said this while speaking after launching a skill training programme for students in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) in Hyderabad yesterday. He said a strict vigil will also be maintained on the engineering colleges in the State to ensure proper educational infrastructure is in place to upskill the students. He also warned that the permit for engineering colleges will be revoked if they fail to maintain minimum educational standards. The Chief Minister also said the Government launched the skill development programme after consultation with BFSI companies and students will be able to complete the course before the completion of graduation. He also said as many as 65 ITIs are being upgraded to Advanced Technology Centres in collaboration with Tata Technologies.

दिल्ली विधानसभा का सत्र आज से शुरू होगा। सत्र की कार्यवाही सुबह 11 बजे से आरंभ होगी। दो दिवसीय इस सत्र में दिल्ली की विभिन्न समस्याओं पर चर्चा होने की संभावना है। आम आदमी पार्टी की नेता आतिशी के दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद, दिल्ली विधानसभा का यह पहला सत्र होगा। विधानसभा में नेता-प्रतिपक्ष विजेंद्र गुप्ता ने आज एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में बताया कि पार्टी के सभी विधायक बारिश में हुई मौतों, कैग की लंबित 11 रिपोर्टें, पीने के पानी की किल्लत, बुजुर्गों को पेंशन, छठा दिल्ली वित्त आयोग और गरीबों को कथित रूप से नहीं दिए राशन कार्ड्स सहित अन्य मुद्दे उठाये जायेंगे। इसके अलावा श्री गुप्ता ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार भाजपा विधायकों के साथ समान व्यवहार नहीं कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा विधायकों के क्षेत्र के लिए विकास कार्यों हेतु आवश्यक फंड और सीसीटीवी कैमरा उपलब्ध नहीं करवाए जा रहे हैं।

स्वच्छता ही सेवा अभियान के अंतर्गत भारतीय जनसंचार संस्थान-आईआईएमसी नई दिल्ली ने एक स्वच्छता चौपाल का आयोजन किया। चौपाल में परिसर के सफाई कर्मचारियों को स्वच्छता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक साथ लाया गया और प्रेरित किया गया।

दिल्ली सरकार ने कल राजधानी में न्यूनतम वेतन बढ़ाने की घोषणा की है। इसके अन्तर्गत दिल्ली के अकुशल मजदूरों को 18 हजार 66 रुपये, अर्ध कुशल श्रमिकों को 19 हजार 929 रुपये और कुशल श्रमिकों को 21 हजार 917 रुपये न्यूनतम मजदूरी मिलेगी। वेतन की नई दरें अगले महीने की पहली तारीख से लागू होगी।
मुख्यमंत्री आतिशी ने एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन में बताया कि दिल्ली में श्रमिकों को मिलने वाला न्यूनतम वेतन देश के किसी भी अन्य राज्य की तुलना में सबसे अधिक है।

बदलती वायु गुणवत्ता और सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य पर इसके प्रतिकूल प्रभावों के जवाब में, बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम (बीएमसी) ने वायु प्रदूषण के प्रबंधन के लिए गहन शोध और समय पर कार्रवाई अनिवार्य कर दी है। बीएमसी मुख्यालय में “पर्यावरण परिवर्तन: हरित दृष्टिकोण विकसित करने की आवश्यकता” शीर्षक वाली बैठक के दौरान, प्रमुख भूषण गगरानी ने हरित पहल को बढ़ावा देने में प्रभावी पर्यावरणीय जोखिम प्रबंधन के महत्व पर जोर दिया। बैठक का उद्देश्य वायु प्रदूषण और जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभावों का आकलन करने और मुंबई को अधिक पर्यावरण के अनुकूल और जलवायु-लचीला शहर बनाने में सहयोग करने के लिए सभी बीएमसी विभागों को एकजुट करना था। मानकीकृत प्रक्रियाओं और विनियमों के अनुपालन को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मुंबई में चल रहे वायु प्रदूषण नियंत्रण उपायों की भी समीक्षा की गई।

पश्चिम बंगाल में उत्तर 24 परगना ज़िले के बशीरहाट संसदीय क्षेत्र से तृणमूल कांग्रेस सांसद हाजी नुरुल इस्लाम का कल दोपहर निधन हो गया। वे 61 वर्ष के थे और लीवर कैंसर से पीड़ित थे। उत्तर 24 परगना जिले के बोइरा गांव स्थित अपने आवास में उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली। मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने उनके निधन पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है। हाजी नुरुल इस्लाम ने 2024 के संसदीय चुनाव में भारतीय जनता पार्टी की रेखा पात्रा को पराजित किया था। 2009 में भी इस सीट पर उन्होंने जीत हासिल की थी।

मौसम विभाग के अनुसार अगले 24 घंटे के दौरान दिल्ली और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बादल छाये रहने के साथ हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा की संभावना है। इसके अलावा 25 से 35 किलोमीटर प्रतिघंटे की तीव्रता से तेज हवाओं के चलने के आसार हैं। आज का अधिकतम तापमान 34 डिग्री सेल्सियस और न्यूनतम तापमान 25 डिग्री सेल्सियस के आस-पास रहने का अनुमान है।

मुंबई और उसके उपनगरीय इलाकों में कल भारी बारिश और आंधी आई। मौसम विभाग ने मुंबई और ठाणे के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया, जिसमें आज सुबह तक अत्यधिक भारी बारिश, आंधी, बिजली और तेज़ हवाएँ चलने का अनुमान है। बृह्नन मुंबई नगर निगम ने घोषणा की है कि आज मुंबई के सभी स्कूल और कॉलेज बंद रहेंगे।

ईश्वर चन्द्र विद्यासागर (अंग्रेज़ी: Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar; जन्म- 26 सितम्बर, 1820, पश्चिम बंगाल; मृत्यु- 29 जुलाई, 1891, कोलकाता) भारत के प्रसिद्ध समाज सुधारक, शिक्षा शास्त्री व स्वाधीनता सेनानी थे। वे ग़रीबों व दलितों के संरक्षक माने जाते थे। उन्होंने स्त्री-शिक्षा और विधवा विवाह पर काफ़ी ज़ोर दिया। ईश्वर चन्द्र विद्यासागर ने ‘मेट्रोपोलिटन विद्यालय’ सहित अनेक महिला विद्यालयों की स्थापना करवायी तथा वर्ष 1848 में वैताल पंचविंशति नामक बंगला भाषा की प्रथम गद्य रचना का भी प्रकाशन किया। नैतिक मूल्यों के संरक्षक और शिक्षाविद विद्यासागर जी का मानना था कि अंग्रेज़ी और संस्कृत भाषा के ज्ञान का समन्वय करके ही भारतीय और पाश्चात्य परंपराओं के श्रेष्ठ को हासिल किया जा सकता है।

He also rationalised and simplified the Bangla alphabet and type, which had remained unchanged since Charles Wilkins and Panchanan Karmakar had cut the first (wooden) Bengali type in 1780.He was the most prominent campaigner for Hindu widow remarriage, petitioning the Legislative Council despite severe opposition, including a counter petition (by Radhakanta Deb and the Dharma Sabha) which had nearly four times as many signatures. Even though widow remarriage was considered a flagrant breach of Hindu customs and was staunchly opposed, Lord Dalhousie personally finalised the bill and the Hindu Widows’ Remarriage Act, 1856 was passed. Against child marriage, efforts of Vidyasagar led to Age of Consent Act, 1891. In which the minimum age of consummation of marriage was 12 years. A weekly newspaper, Somprakash Patrika, was started on 15 November 1858 (1 Agrahayan 1265 BS) by Dwarakanath Vidyabhusan. Dwarakanath (1819–1886) was a professor of the Sanskrit College in Calcutta , India. The original plan was mooted by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar (1820–1891).

सूबेदार जोगिन्दर सिंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Subedar Joginder Singh, जन्म: 26 सितम्बर 1921 – शहादत: 23 अक्तूबर 1962) परमवीर चक्र से सम्मानित भारतीय सैनिक थे। इन्हें यह सम्मान सन 1962 में मरणोपरांत मिला। स्वतंत्र भारत ने चीन से बस एक युद्ध 1962 में लड़ा जिसने उसे बहुत सारे अनुभव दिए। ये अनुभव फौजी हकीकत से तो जुड़े हुए थे ही इनमें राजनैतिक तौर पर भी बहुत कुछ आँख खोल देने वाला था। इस युद्ध में चीन के साथ लड़ते हुए भारत के चार पराक्रमी योद्धाओं ने परमवीर चक्र प्राप्त किए। इन चारों में से तीन को तो यह यश मरणोपरान्त मिला और केवल एक वीर सारी कथा को बताने के लिए जीवित बचा रहा। उन तीनों योद्धाओं में जो रणभूमि में वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए, एक सूबेदार जोगिन्दर सिंह भी थे जो 1 सिख रेजिमेंट के सेनानी थे और टोंगपेन ला, नेफा में बूमला मोर्चे पर लड़ रहे थे।

He was an influential figure in 19th-century Gujarati literature, and was one of several Gujarati writers and educators involved in the debate over social reforms, focusing on issues such as the status of women, child marriage, and the question of whether widows could remarry.

Cunha; जन्म- 2 अप्रैल, 1891, गोवा, मृत्यु- 26 सितंबर, 1958) गोवा के प्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे। ये ऐसे व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने अपना सब कुछ न्योछावर करके गोवा को स्वतंत्र कराने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका अदा की। डॉ. टी. बी. कुन्हा जैसे अनेक स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों ने अपार कष्ट सह कर गोवा को 1961 में स्वतंत्रता दिलाई। आधुनिक भारत के यशस्वी सपूत टी. बी. कुन्हा “गोवा के जनक” के रूप में माने जाते हैं। वे एक दूरद्रष्टाराष्ट्रवादी स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे।

Ravi Baswani (29 September 1946 – 27 July 2010) was an Indian film actor, best known for his role in Sai Paranjpe’s Chashme Buddoor (1981) and Kundan Shah’s cult comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983), for which he won Filmfare Best Comedian Award in 1984.[1] He was noted for his comic timing and underplaying a character in the true sense of the word. In a career spanning 30 years he acted in some 30 films. He died in Haldwani, on his way to Delhi from Nainital, to where he had travelled to scout for locations for his upcoming debut directorial feature film.

उदय शंकर (अंग्रेज़ी: Uday Shankar; जन्म- 8 दिसम्बर, 1900 ई., राजस्थान; मृत्यु- 26 सितम्बर, 1977 ई., कोलकाता) भारत के प्रसिद्ध नर्तक, नृत्य निर्देशक और बैले निर्माता थे। उन्हें भारत में ‘आधुनिक नृत्य के जन्मदाता’ के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। उदय शंकर ने यूरोप और अमेरिका का भारतीय नृत्य और संस्कृति से परिचय करवाया और भारतीय नृत्य को दुनिया के मानचित्र पर प्रभावशाली ढंग से स्थापित किया। उन्होंने ताण्डव नृत्य, शिव-पार्वती, लंका दहन, रिदम ऑफ़ लाइफ़, श्रम और यंत्र, रामलीला और भगवान बुद्ध नाम से नवीन नृत्यों की रचना की थी। इनमें वेशभूषा, संगीत, संगीत-यंत्र, ताल और लय आदि चीजें उन्हीं के द्वारा आविष्कृत थीं। वर्ष 1971 में भारत सरकार ने उन्हें ‘पद्मविभूषण’ और 1975 में विश्वभारती ने ‘देशीकोत्तम सम्मान’ प्रदान किये थे।

Hemanta Mukhopadhyay (16 June 1920 – 26 September 1989), known professionally as Hemanta Mukherjee and Hemant Kumar, was a Legendary Indian music director and playback singer who primarily sang in Bengali and Hindi, as well as other Indian languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Assamese, Tamil, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Sanskrit and Urdu. He was an artist of Bengali and Hindi film music, Rabindra Sangeet, and many other genres. He was the recipient of two National Awards for Best Male Playback Singer and was popularly known as the “voice of God”.

हेमन्त कुमार मुखोपाध्याय (अंग्रेज़ी: Hemanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay, जन्म- 16 जून, 1920, वाराणसी, उत्तर प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 26 सितम्बर, 1989, पश्चिम बंगाल) हिन्दी फ़िल्म जगत् के महान् पार्श्वगायक और संगीतकार थे। वे ‘हेमन्त दा’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए थे, जिनके गीत आज भी श्रोताओं को मंत्रमुग्ध कर देते हैं। बांग्ला और हिन्दी फ़िल्म संगीत की जानी-मानी शख्सियत हेमन्त कुमार न सिर्फ़ मौसिकी के माहिर थे, बल्कि बेहतरीन फ़िल्म निर्माता भी थे। बांग्ला भाषा के अनेक ग़ैर-फ़िल्मी एल्बम को सुर देने वाले हेमन्त कुमार ने कई मशहूर हिन्दी गीतों को भी अपनी मधुर आवाज़ दी थी। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने एक ऐसी फ़िल्म का निर्माण भी किया, जिसे ‘राष्ट्रपति स्वर्ण पदक’ से नवाज़ा। फ़िल्म समीक्षक ज्योति वेंकटेश के मुताबिक़ हेमन्त कुमार अपने दौर के सबसे प्रतिभाशाली फ़नकारों में से थे। संगीत की नब्ज़ का मिज़ाज समझने में दक्ष इस कलाकार को ‘रवींद्र संगीत’ का विशेषज्ञ भी माना जाता था। फ़िल्म ‘आनंदमठ’ की सफलता के बाद हेमन्त कुमार बतौर संगीतकार फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री में स्थापित हो गए।

देवानंद पूरा नाम धर्मदेव आनंद (जन्म- 26 सितंबर, 1923, पंजाब; मृत्यु- 3 दिसम्बर, 2011, लंदन) भारतीय सिनेमा के शुरुआती दौर के प्रसिद्ध अभिनेता थे जो जीवन भर सक्रिय और चर्चित रहे। वे अभिनेता के साथ-साथ निर्माता-निर्देशक भी थे। वर्ष 1948 में प्रदर्शित फ़िल्म ‘जिद्दी’ (1948) में अभिऩेत्री कामिनी कौशल के साथ देव आनंद के फ़िल्मी कैरियर की पहली हिट फ़िल्म साबित हुई।

Anand is considered as one of the greatest and most successful actors in the history of Indian cinema. Through a career that spanned over six decades, he worked in more than 100 films. Anand is a recipient of four Filmfare Awards, including two for Best Actor. The Government of India honoured him with Padma Bhushan, Indian third highest civilian honour in 2001 and with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2002.
देव आनंद को नई ऊंचाइयाँ दिलायी। इस फ़िल्म की कामयाबी के बाद उन्होंने फ़िल्म निर्माण के क्षेत्र में क़दम रख दिया। सन् 1949 में उन्होंने ‘नवकेतन’ बैनर नाम से स्वयं की फ़िल्म निर्माण संस्था खोल ली और उसके अंतर्गत साल दर साल फ़िल्में बनाने में सफल हुये। वर्ष 1970 में फ़िल्म ‘प्रेम पुजारी’ के साथ देव आनंद ने निर्देशन के क्षेत्र में भी क़दम रख दिया। हालांकि यह फ़िल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर बुरी तरह से नकार दी गई, बावजूद इसके उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारी। इसके बाद वर्ष 1971 में फ़िल्म ‘हरे रामा हरे कृष्णा’ का भी निर्देशन किया जिसमें ‘दम मारो दम’ गीत ने धूम मचाई। इस फ़िल्म के कामयाबी के बाद देवानंद को एक बेहतरीन निर्देशक के रूप में स्थापित कर दिया और उन्होंने अपनी कई फ़िल्मों का निर्देशन भी किया। इस फ़िल्म के ज़रिए उन्होंने युवा पीढ़ी को राष्ट्रप्रेम के लिए पुकारा। इन फ़िल्मों में हीरा पन्ना, देश परदेस, लूटमार, स्वामी दादा, सच्चे का बोलबाला, अव्वल नंबर, लव एट टाइम्स स्क्वैर, मैं सोलह बरस की, गैंगस्टर और हम नौजवान जैसी फ़िल्में शामिल हैं। देव आनंद ने कई फ़िल्मों की पटकथा भी लिखी। जिसमें वर्ष 1952 में प्रदर्शित फ़िल्म ‘आंधियां’ के अलावा ‘हरे रामा हरे कृष्णा’, ‘हम नौजवान’, ‘अव्वल नंबर’, ‘प्यार का तराना’ (1993 में), ‘गैंगेस्टर’, ‘मैं सोलह बरस की’, ‘सेन्सर’ आदि फ़िल्में शामिल हैं।
