In China, nine people were confirmed dead and thirteen others injured after an under construction building collapsed in Guizhou Province on Monday. The chief of the city's work safety administration said today that six people were killed on the spot while three others died in hospital. Investigators said the four-story building that collapsed was an illegal construction project.
