He was beaten to death by some fellow students on October 7 inside the hostel.<br />''<br />''The killing sparked off protests across the country and BUET students went on strike demanding arrest of the accused, their expulsion and quick trial.<br />''<br />''BUET students have continued to boycott classes even after they called off their strike on October 15.<br />''<br />''Law Minister Anisul Haq on Thursday assured that the trial of the Abrar murder case will be held under speedy trial tribunal for swift proceedings.</span><br />
