<span style="color: #222222;">The Budget session of the Tamilnadu Assembly began this morning. State Governor R.N.Ravi began his speech by quoting from Tiruvalluvar. He concluded the speech by saying that his request for playing the National Anthem before and after his speech has been denied and therefore he decided to conclude. <br />''<br />''The speaker of the Assembly Appavu read the Tamil version of the speech.The Speaker said that it was customary to play the Tamil Thai Vazhthu in the beginning of the Assembly and National Anthem after the Governor's speech. Later he appealed to the Governor to seek relief for the people affected by the floods through the PM Cares Fund. After which Governor Ravi walked out of the House. At this juncture, the leader of the House Duraimurugan proposed a resolution to adopt the Governor's speech so that it is recorded in the Assembly proceedings.The resolution was passed and the National Anthem was played.<br />''<br />'' BJP MLAs condemned the accusation of the Speaker and walked out of the Assembly.</span>
