In Assam, the State Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik has summoned the Budget Session of the State Legislative Assembly from the 1st March. A notification to this effect has been issued at Guwahati today. The Principal Secretary of the State Legislative Assembly Gauranga Prasad Das told our Guwahati Correspondent that the Session will continue for around a month. It will begin with the address of the Governor.The State Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who is also holding the Finance portfolio, will present the Budget for the year 2012-2013 in the Assembly on 12th March.
