The Assam Governor J.B.Patnaik has summoned the Budget Session of the State Legislative Assembly from 1st of February next year. Accroding to the Principal Secretary of the Assembly, the Session will continue till 8th of February. The Session will begin with the customary address by the State Governor. The Chief Minister Mr. Tarun Gogoi, who is holding the Finance portfolio, will present the Vote-on-Account in the Assembly for the next financial year 2011-2012 of the poll-bound State. Our Correspondent reports that this will be the last sitting of the Tarun Gogoi-led 14th Assembly as the State poll is due in April-May next year.
