The Speaker in charge had adjourned the House after ratification of the Constitution 126th Amendment Bill, 2019 on January 17, the first day of the session.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the week-long session, various businesses will be taken up which include debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Address, Laying of reports, presentation of Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2019-2020, and others.  <br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who also holds the Finance portfolio will present the Budget 2020-21 on the penultimate day of the session, which will be taken up for consideration and passing on February 14.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Election to the post of NLA Speaker will be held today between ruling PDA government nominee Sharingain Longkumer and Naga People's Front, MLA Dr Imtiwapang Aier. The post of the Speaker was vacant after the passing away of the sitting NLA Speaker Vikho-o Yhoshü on December 30 last year.</span> The session will conclude on 15th of this month.<br />
