The budget session of Manipur Legislative Assembly is beginning tomorrow with an address by the state Governor, Gurbachan Jagat. Secretary of the State Legislature Y Indira Devi told AIR News, the session will continue till the 25th of this month and will have 14 sittings. The Chief Minister, Mr. Okram Ibobi Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio will present the budget on 14th of March. Oath taking ceremony of the newly elected member of Konthoujam Assembly constituency K. Sarat Singh will be held next morning in the Assembly Hall.Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the assembly complex for smooth conduct of the session. Special traffic arrangements have also been made in and around Imphal.
