The Budget session of Jharkhand Assembly began today with the speech of state Governor M O H Farook. In his speech, the Governor complimented the Arjun Munda government for successful completion of recently concluded 34th National Games in the state. The speech outlined several new programs and policies of the State Government, one of which is setting of a corpous fund and converting the newly created world class infrastructure into a Sports University. Two new medical colleges- one at Saraikela Kharsawan and other at Dumka, would also be opened by the state government. This is in addition to four other medical colleges that are being opened shortly in Ranchi and Bokaro.
