In Gujarat, the budget session of the Assembly began in Gandhinagar with the address of Governor Doctor Smt. Kamlaji. As soon as the Governor began her speech & completed reading just few lines the opposition Congress MLA raised slogans. The Governor was not allowed to complete address following which the session was adjourned. After 15 minutes Assembly gathered again for consolation of Former Gujarat Assembly Speaker Late Prof.Mangubhai Patel, & Assembly postponed for tomorrow. The 37 day budget session will have 25 sittings. The state Govt. will present the Budget for the Financial year 2012-13 on tomorrow by Finance Minister Vajubhai Vala. A number of important bills will be tabled during the budget session which includes Gujarat professional technical educational colleges & institute's admission & fees related Amendment Act, Technology Reaserch & Management Bill & also Amendment Bills for the Vir Narmad South Gujarat University,Bhavnagar University, Pandit Deendaya Petroleum University & Kadi Sarva Visvavidhyalaya.
