The budget session of the Delhi Assembly begins wednesday. The session will begin with a customary address by Lieutenant Governor Tejinder Khanna and will have around 13 sittings and conclude on April one. <br/><br/>Finance Minister A K Walia will present the budget on March 22. The session is likely to start on a stormy note with opposition BJP planning to come down hard on the government on issues such as price rise and cost escalation of various projects linked to the upcoming Commonwealth Games. <br/><br/>Leader of opposition in the House V K Malhotra said, the BJP legislators will take up the government’s indifferent attitude towards people’s problem very seriously. <br/><br/>The government plans to present a slew of bills, including the 'Delhi Stamp Amendment Bill 2010' and amendment to the Environment Protection Act during the session. <br/><br/>BJP also announced that all the party MLAs would come to the Assembly on bicycle today to protest the government's failure to rein in price rise.
