The month-long Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin at Dispur on Thursday with the Address by the Governor Janaki Ballav Patnaik. The Assembly will meet on 15 working days during the Session. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who is also holding the Finance portfolio, will present the State Budget for the year 2012-2013 in the House on the 12th of next month. The Principal Secretary of the Assembly Gauranga Prasad Das told AIR Correspondent that as many as 12 Government Bills are to be tabled in the House during the Session.
