Budget Session of Arunachal Pradesh Assembly commences with customary address of Governor

<span style="color: #222222;">The Budget Session of Arunachal Pradesh Assembly commenced with the customary address of the Governor today. Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd) in his address to the house said that the State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is fully poised to utilize all available resources for the overall socio-economic development of the state and its people. The Governor expressed confidence that this Assembly Session will devote its wholehearted zeal towards legislating for the progress of the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Assembly Session will have seven sittings and will conclude on the 8th of March. Seven important bills were tabled in the house on the very first day today, including the Arunachal Pradesh Ease of Doing Business Bill and the Arunachal Pradesh Legislatures Members (Prevention of Disqualification) (Amendment) Bill. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, who holds the Finance portfolio, will present the Budget Estimates for the financial year 2021-22 on 3rd of March. This year the budget presentation will go completely paperless. There will be no booklet this time unlike earlier and the members will be provided soft copies. It may be mentioned that the State's Assembly had gone paperless last year with the implementation of e-Vidhan project.</span><br />''  <br />
