<span style="color: black;">Budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2080-081 BS (2023-24) has been presented before the Federal Parliament of Nepal by the Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat. The budget is the annual estimate of the government's revenue and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year before a joint session of the Federal Parliament. At the commencement of the House session, Speaker Devraj Ghimire invited the Finance Minister for making the budget statement in the parliament.</span><br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: black;">In the current fiscal year, the government has allocated Rs 70.05 billion for education at the federal level, Rs 5.32 billion at the province level, and Rs 121 billion at the local level. Old monasteries of more than 100 years would be preserved as well as monasteries of Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur, Dhading as well as other districts damaged by the earthquake would be reconstructed.</span><br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: black;">Finance Minister Dr Mahat said that Gurukul, Madrasa, Gumba education would be mainstream and the curriculum of the braille script and sign language would be formulated.</span>
