<span style="color: #222222;">Minority Affairs minister Mukthar Abbas Naqvi has said his Ministry's budget has been enhanced from 3130 crore rupees in 2013-14 to 5020 crore rupees in 2022-23. Mr. Naqvi said the budget allocation for education of minority communities which was 1888 crore rupees in 2013-14 has been increased to 2515 crore rupees in 2022-23. Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha, the minister said the allocation to his ministry is specifically for empowerment of minority communities.<br />''<br />''The minister informed the House that the government has implemented various schemes for the welfare and upliftment of every section of the society including minorities especially the economically weaker and deprived sections of the society with schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana among others.</span><br />
