The Buddhists in Maharashtra and elsewhere are celebrating Fifty ninth Dhamma Chakra Pravartan with faith and devotion. The third generation of Buddhists in Maharashtra are expressing their faith by chanting Buddam Saranam Gachhami and the rest of Trisaran Panchsheel and 22 two oaths taught by Babasaheb Ambedkar. <br/><br/>Large numbers of people have congregated in Dadar Chaityabhoomi of Dr. Babasaaheb Ambedkar. The day is observed to mark the occasion of Dr. Ambedkar embracing the Buddhist Dharmma with large number of his followers on the day of Dasara in 1956. The main function is held in Nagpur.
