Buddhadev slams Chidambaram for remarks on WB law & order situation

<br/>West Bengal Chief Minister, Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has strongly criticized Union Home Minister, P. Chidambaram’s recent statement regarding law and order situation in the State. Talking to newsmen in Kolkata yesterday, Mr. Bhattacharjee commented that language used by the Union Home Minister was not good and asked him to ‘mind’ his language. <br/><br/>The Chief Minister admitted that he is responsible about law and order in the State and also trying to improve it. Mr. Bhattacharjee said that he told the Union Home Minister to convince opposition to cooperate with the Government to improve law and order. Mr. Bhattacharjee categorically said that he does not accept the comment and he knows his responsibilities and let him do his job and the Union Home Minister do his own. <br/><br/>Mr. Chidambaram during his recent visit in Lalgarh commented that ‘buck stops’ at the Chief Minister’s table to law and order issue particularly on maintaining inter-party clashes in the State.
