West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today alleged that the Maoists from neighbouring Jharkhand are committing crime in the state. Addressing a party meeting in Birbhum district, he said, the Maoists come from Jharkhand and commit crime in the state. Mr Bhattacharya said, the government in Jharkhand is weak so they have failed to combat Maoist activities.<br/><br/>He said, the Maoists talk about welfare of the poor but they killed a number of poor people. The Chief Minister said, government will prevent these activities like it did in seventies and succeeded. He also alleged that the Trinamool Congress is trying to win everything by force – whether it is school committee of a cooperative society election – after its Lok Sabha results.
