BSP Chief Mayawati today said that her party is extending outside support to the UPA government at the Centre to prevent communal forces from coming to power. Addressing the media in New Delhi Ms. Mayawati said her party has decided to wait and watch on the presidential candidature until the UPA and NDA declare their candidates. She also said the Lokpal Bill is being given final shape by the central government and her party will take a suitable decision after it is finalised.
Lashing out at the Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh she said it has completely failed on all fronts. She said the law and order situation has collapsed after the new government came to power and development in the state has come to a standstill.
She said the policies being followed by the Samajwadi party government in Uttar Pradesh is against the Dalits and backward classes. She said the SP government came to power because of the wrong stand taken by the Congress and the BJP during elections.
