BSP expels its former MP, his son for alleged anti party activities

In Uttar Pradesh, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Sunday expelled its former Member of Parliament Bhal Chandra Yadav and his son Pramod Chandra Yadav from the party for their alleged anti party activities.Quoting Party sources AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the two-time MP from Khalilabad in Siddharthanagar district Mr. Yadav and his chairman of the Zila Panchayat son have been expelled from the party with immediate effect. In the recently concluded Assembly elections in the state, the former MP's youngest son Subodh Chandra Yadav had contested from Etwa seat in the district but lost to former Speaker of state assembly and Samajwadi Party nominee Mata Prasad Pandey.Mr. Bhal Chandra Yadav, however, terming the action of the party as a political conspiracy against him and said he would try to meet party president Mayawati to clarify his position.
