BSP expels former minister Babu Singh Kushwaha

In Uttar Pradesh the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party today expelled its high profile former minister Babu Singh Kushwaha from the party for indiscipline and anti party activities.Kushwaha had resigned from Mayawati government following the killing of two Chief medical Officers at Lucknow and alleged irregularities in the implementation of National Rural Health Mission NRHM.The CBI has been asked to probe into the killings of both the CMOs and scam in NRHM. Kushwaha was removed from all party posts and his participation was banned to the party functions after his resignation.Recently writing a letter to the Chief Minister he had expressed threat to his life from PWD Minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui and two senior most officials of the state government including cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar Singh and Principle Secretary Home Fateh Bahadur. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that he is facing inquiry from Lokayukta of the state on the charges of corruption and misuse of office and a PIL is also pending against him at the Allahabad High Court.
