In Uttar Pradesh, BSP Chief and former chief minister Mayawati today visited Katra Sa'adatganj village of Badaun where two minor girls were gang raped and murdered a few days ago. She met the families of victims and consoled them. Later talking to media she said that not only Badaun but whole of UP has turned into a jungleraj and there is no law and order in the state. She said that common people in Badaun are filled with extreme fear.

Earlier talking to media in Lucknow , BSP Chief said that there is no law and order in the state and presidential rule must be imposed to end the anarchy of Samajwadi Party. She said that Modi government at the Centre must ensure speedy investigation of the matter and must take strong notice to the bad shape of law and order in the state. Outgoing Loksabha speaker Meira Kumar is also scheduled to visit the village today.
