BSP chief Mayawati today said the the party has account of every rupee deposited in bank. She was talking to mediapersons in Lucknow in the back drop of Enforcement Directorate yesterday detecting huge cash deposits in BSP bank accounts.<br/><br/>She said, the money was collected before note ban and all deposits as per norms. Ms. Mayawati charged the Centre of misusing official machinery. She said, BJP is out to tarnish image of BSP ahead of UP Assembly elections.The BSP supremo said all parties including BJP should give account of their party deposited for the last ten months.<br/><br/>Enforcement Directorate (ED) detected cash deposits totalling over 104 crore rupees in an account belonging to Bahujan Samaj Party and almost 1 crore 50 lakh rupees in an account belonging to party Supremo Mayawati's brother Anand Kumar in a branch of United Bank of India in Delhi. <br/><br/>Sources in the Enforcement Directorate said, the agency found huge deposits made in these two accounts post-demonetisation. The officials found that 102 crores were deposited in 1,000 rupees notes and the rest 3 crore in old 500 rupee notes. Officials said, huge cash of about 15 to 17 crore rupees was deposited every other day.<br/><br/>ED has sought full details about the two accounts from the bank. It has also asked the bank to provide CCTV footage and Know Your Customer documents used to open the accounts.
