BSP Chief Mayawati has questioned UP government's action against the slaughterhouses in the state alleging that it has been done in an arbitrary manner. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, she said, the state government should first frame a proper rule in this regard. Ms. Mayawati said, the meat sellers should have been given time to get proper licenses before taking action against them. She said, the livelihood of several people has been adversely affected.
