In Uttar Pradesh, the BSP candidate Khatoon Taufiq is leading her nearest rival by around 14,000 votes in Dumariyaganj assembly seat by-election after tenth round of counting. Earlier, the counting started amid tight security in Siddharthanagar district headquarters this morning. The by-election for this constituency was held on June 3. The seat had fallen vacant due to the death of incumbent BSP MLA Taufiq Ahmad. His wife Khatoon Taufiq is the party’s candidate along with ten others.<br/>
