Telecom services have been affected in West Bengal due to nationwide indefinite strike called by the BSNL employees from Tuesday. <br/> <br/>The Chief General Manager of the Calcutta Telephones, Mr. A.K. Garg told AIR Correspondent that maintenance of telephone lines, repairing of instruments, receiving of cash for telephone bills and processing of new connections are being affected due to the strike. <br/> <br/>However, other services including telephone and internet connections have remained normal so far. <br/> <br/>The striking employees have started demonstrations in front of all telephone exchanges and other offices in the State in support of their demands. Senior officers have been resisted by the strikers to enter into their offices.<br/>
